Dr. Chunyu Liao is an Associate Professor (Tenure Track) at the School of Life and Health, Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology. She has been selected for the National Overseas High-Level Youth Talent Program and appointed as a Category B Scholar under Shenzhen's "Pengcheng Plan." Her research group is funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, provincial, and municipal research foundations. Dr. Liao earned her Ph.D. from Iowa State University in the United States and completed postdoctoral training at North Carolina State University (USA) and the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Biology in Germany. Her long-term research focuses on the biology and molecular mechanisms of bacterial defense systems, as well as the development, optimization, and application of gene-editing tools. In recent years, her work has been published in journals such as Nature Microbiology, Nature Communications, Annual Review of Genetics, Molecular Cell, Nucleic Acids Research, and PNAS. The CRISPR array construction method she developed has been widely adopted, and her systematic research on CRISPR RNA biogenesis has gained significant recognition in the field.

We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers and research assistant professors to join our team. Candidates with expertise in molecular biology, microbiology, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
1.A Ph.D. (for postdoc) or a strong research background (for research assistant professor) in a relevant discipline.
2.Experience in gene editing, microbial genetics, or microbiome research is preferred.
3.Strong publication record and independent research capabilities.
Benefits:
Comprehensive annual salary: 340,000 -400,000 RMB, with additional support based on individual performance；specific compensation negotiable in person.
